Thomas Dahlslett, MD, PhD fellow

His PhD thesis is focusing on modern ultrasound as a diagnostic tool in acute myocardial infarction.
The project is studying the use of ultrasound technology in acute severe heart failure caused by myocardial infarction or other heart muscle disorders.
The purpose of this study is to find a method to detect early damage of the heart muscle so that further treatment can be tailored to the individual patient.

His supervisors are Professor Thor Edvardsen, MD, PhD, Bjørnar Grenne, MD, PhD and Harald Brunvand, MD.
