Siri Kallhovd successfully defended her PhD



Capturing physiological variability and validating models is a main challenge in cardiac mathematical modeling, a field that is becoming increasingly important in modern cardiological research.  Siri Kallhovd has studied the sensitivity of computational results to model parameters, her thesis including an exploratory study of the influence of several factors related to fatty tissue infiltration, with the ultimate goal of arrhythmia risk evaluation.

She successfully defended her PhD thesis "Computational tools for clinically driven models of cardiac electro-mechanics"  on Thursday 15th of June. Read more about her defense and PhD thesis on Simula’s webpage.
