Hermenegild Arevalo started as a postdoctoral fellow at Simula Research Laboratory earlier this year. His project will be focusing on the development of a virtual electrophysiology lab that can predict arrhythmia susceptibility in patients with myocardial infarction. In 2015 he won the Young Investigator Award at the Heart Rhythm Scientific Sessions in Boston for his clinical research, “Virtual Electrophysiological Study Improves Risk Prediction of Adverse Cardiac Events in Post-Infarction Patients.”. |
